a little bit about me

I’m Megha - I live in San Francisco Bay Area, California and work as an illustrator. Art is my world, and I’m eager for you to step into it.

Coming from an Army family, we were packing our bags and moving across the world and country, sometimes every few months. I changed thirteen schools growing up, encountering a myriad of cultures, experiences and people who shaped a big part of who I am today.

Growing up, I’d spend a lot of time thumbing through fashion magazines and watching movies. They created a sense of familiarity, and could always rely on the stability that dog-eared back issues of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle, dusty DVDs of Breakfast at Tiffanys and coveted hours in front of the TV after school watching Sex and the City would bring.

What started as doodling on the back of my biology textbooks slowly evolved into a passion for fashion illustrations.

After a successful stint in the corporate world , i was still looking to fulfill my creative side. All I ever wanted to do was to tell stories through the lens of a beautiful character, an outfit, or a scene.

So, Auraange was born in 2016, and I’ve never looked back since.

Hundreds of illustrations, custom events and wonderful client conversations later, creating timeless moments in our lives is what the brand stands for, and strives to do, everyday.

Auraange Business was built because a cafe I loved to work out of asked if I could create some cool custom art pieces they could hang around their premises. Today, the key deliverable is custom illustrations created for businesses for Print/Digital use.

These pieces can be used for wall art, decor, and even merchandise (shop coasters, cushions on the premises and so on). Pieces can be commissioned based on the style and needs of your business. (personalized)
